The Glen Dimplex story began with the founding of Glen Electric in 1973. With the acquisition of Dimplex in 1977, Glen Dimplex was born. In the years since the company has grown steadily, and today Glen Dimplex is an international group operating through 6 divisions worldwide with around 8000 employees.
Glen Dimplex Heating & Ventilation is the largest division of the Glen Dimplex group, featuring 11 brands with approximately 1500 employees across 11 sites across the UK and Europe. GDHV is a global leader in innovative, low carbon, smart heating and ventilation solutions for the 21st century.

The GDHV 20I20 Leadership Programme
Following a pilot in 2019, the GDHV 20I20 Leadership Programme was launched in 2020, in partnership with the William J Clinton Leadership Institute. The aim of the programme is to develop our current and future leaders and provide them with the tools, skills and knowledge they will need to be effective leaders and guide our business forward.

The GDHV Ownership Programme
The Ownership Programme has been created for middle to senior management across the business, to support their development. The programme involves a mix of ‘classroom’ and e-learning, and covers topics such as time management & delegation; self-awareness; communication skills; coaching and mentoring; presentation skills; project management and managing through change. A pilot of the programme was launched in March 2020, with a full roll out of the programme across the division targeted for 2021.
Throughout your time at GDHV you will be encouraged and supported in developing your skills and expanding your knowledge. As well as taking part in regular reviews and appraisals with your line management, you will also have access to:
